Runeseeker

Runeseeker is an adventure RPG featuring a turn-based party-based card battle system.  You'll be welcomed into an alternative fantasy version of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East where the oldest empires never die, and never end to cease.

You play as the Runeseeker, and you create your character down to a trait, class, your gender and your race.  

Growing up, your mother told you old faerie tales about the runes that govern the status of the world.  One day, your world is split as when you were out getting water for your family, the Gaulian army invaded the netural town of Gaullia Celtia, and killed all the villagers, including your family.  Not knowing what to do, you venture to the town of Kastelstad, a realm self-managed by mercaneries.  On your 17th birthday, when you are of age, you decide to go ahead and see if there are any truth to those faerie tales.

Runeseeker is currently in the alpha stage.  I plan on releasing 4 alphas, which focus on a certain aspect of the game.  The first alpha will be released soon, which will feature character creation, party recruitment, and dungeon exploration, only.

Alpha 2 will feature battling, Alpha 3 will feature the use of items, treasure and runes, and Alpha 4 will focus on the hub world and an actual basic game you can play.

Alpha 3 is currently in progress, and is about 93% percent complete.

After the Alpha, I will be releasing betas periodically to focus on story elements and new dungeons.

I plan on releasing this game on Windows, OSX and Linux at first.  All prototypes will be Windows only.
